Role Overview:

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including team management and involvement in a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). This role involves leading our DevOps initiatives, driving automation, improving system performance, and mentoring a team of talented engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, infrastructure as code, and a proven track record of implementing DevOps best practices in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the DevOps team, setting goals and developing career paths for team members.
• Spearhead the design and implementation of fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment across multiple environments.
• Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the Cloud Center of Excellence, sharing best practices, and driving cloud adoption across the organization.
• Oversee and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through effective cloud architecture and proactive monitoring.
• Drive incident management processes and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by introducing new technologies and processes that enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services.
• Demonstrated experience managing DevOps teams and contributing to a Cloud Center of Excellence.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and IaC (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus).
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
